| low volume MP rotors This type of rotating head is recommended for large open areas and slopes. These nozzles use less gallons and require lower pressure allowing for more heads on each line and less valves are needed to irrigate the larger areas. The MP Rotor design provides for more precise arc and radius adjustments to better direct the water to exactly where you want it. The low impact spray allows the water to soak in rather than run off onto driveways and streets making them particularly good for slopes. The old rotating heads had an impact spray that did not allow time for the water to soak in. These heads are designed to put out a softer spray of water, almost fingers of spray, that allow time for the water to soak in and reduce the amount of runoff. The MP Rotors are endorsed by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and are included in the list of ‘Qualified Products’ on the SoCal Water Smart page. |
