| drip systems We have been using a product called Techline and it has proven to be very reliable. Each drip line has 2 psi check valve to prevent run off when the system shuts down, an interior filtration system and a 40 psi regulator to keep the pressure at an even rate to insure all drippers will have equal flow from the beginning of the line to the end. This drip irrigation will allow for deep watering of plant material with a minimum of runoff. We know that using less water is a concern. All of our research and personal observations find that this Techline Drip System will save water. Reports on these type of products range from 20% to 50% savings. Every application will differ. I can say, that you should definitely see a decrease in water usage once this system is installed. The water goes exactly where you need it and there is little, if any evaporation or run off.
